The Best Ways to Implement BYOD Programs

Bring your own device management

Bring your own device programs are becoming increasingly popular at all kinds of businesses. Employees love the convenience of having corporate information at their disposal whenever they need to do work, and employers love the cost effective productivity they are getting from these employees. As a matter of fact, 66 percent of employees claim they want their IT departments to let them use their own mobile devices.

It is clear that Byod solutions provide greater productivity, less paperwork, more accurate billing and record keeping, added visibility, streamlines workflow, and more. The Byod strategy has benefits in almost every area of efficiency and productivity. However, the one thing a business does need to consider is BYOD mobile security.

One third of the employees that use their own mobile device claim that their company does not have encrypted or secured data. This can create a huge problem, as many of these mobile devices are easily cracked. Important company and employee information could easily be accessed by people without proper clearance.

BYOD mobile security and management software can easily solve a lot of your BYOD problems. Bring your own device management is useful for managing installed applications, managing and securing company data, managing passwords, and restricting access if a device is lost or stolen. There are plenty of reputable companies near you that can sell and train you on this company saving software.

Other BYOD mobile security options include using the cloud. Mobile device management used over the cloud is a scalable, secure, and convenient way to give employees the convenience of a BYOD policy. If you already have employees using their mobile devices at work, or you are considering applying this affective improvement method, you should begin looking for BYOD mobile security options today. You are sure to find affordable and safe options to get your employees working anywhere.

I do not understand how in this day and age you could have digital information that is not secure. I would not want to have my HR file available to that business.
