What would you say if I told you that you could live in your dream home? Literally, this is true. With custom built homes, all it takes is a dream and some money. If you can imagine it, you can live in it. All you need is a home architectural design, and you could live in the house you have always pictured yourself in.
I have always loved beautiful log homes. Log models are one of my favorite architectural designs. They first became popular in America in the late 18th century, and sort of died out around the 20th. Hey, call me old fashioned, but we all have our own interpretation of great custom luxury homes.
My log home architectural design began in the area of Bozeman, Montana. I chose this location for a few reasons. One, Montana is one of the nine states that does not tax self employed income. I am also very active, and Bozeman is home to plenty of hiking trails, biking parks, and skiing opportunities. Bozeman was the perfect place to bring my personal home architectural design to life.
There are plenty of benefits to having a new home built. For example, new home architectural designs tend to be 25 to 30 percent more efficient with energy than homes that are 20 to 30 years old. Older homes just were not built with this aspect in mind. The thing to keep in mind when customizing a home is that your home architectural design is completely yours. You have the say in what goes into it, and how it is designed.
Not only can you make your home as energy efficient as you would like, you can also choose a floor plan, appliances, and counter tops that are perfect for you. When every decision comes down to your stamp of approval, there is no way you wont be happy in your new home.
