Family photographs are a great way to capture the memories that you do not want to forget. But for most people, photography is about the picture itself, not the camera behind the picture and, since many photographers have the best technology available and are capable of making an excellent portrait which can be available within a day or two, there are plenty of opportunities for those who want to see themselves photographed and know what their world looks like through the camera’s eye. I wouldn’t think that photography is getting cheaper. If anything, my guess is that it is getting more expensive because the photographers are always putting in elements like lighting enhancements for a fee.
