Nearly 80 percent of military children attend public schools through the United States, not necessarily because it is easier, but because with military moves, having them stay in public schools makes it a little less difficult for them to adapt to their new surroundings. As soon as you know you are relocating due to a military reassignment, start researching your new town, as well as the schools there if you have children.
